Not having a family makes it easy, and being a nurse which means a job is possible just about anywhere give me more courage to take the risks. But on the other hand, I am sure I missed out on some wonderful family experiences because of my decisions to be a singleton. And there have been more than a few sleepless nights in my life, wondering if I would end up living in a cardboard box under the freeway somewhere. Bottom line, I figure there is no such thing as "security". It's all an illusion, so why spend my life trying to hang on to that? Why not try one small "adventurous" thing and see how it goes... it's addictive, trust me :) After the first few moves it got really easy to see that it was possible to try different things, go different places and survive.
